And there are a few pics at the shower

(But I didn't have enough room for more than this on my memory card, so I feel bad that there are not more because it was a WONDERFUL baby shower!)

With DELICIOUS food (especially desserts!) :O)

Wonderful company!

Cute decorations (and more wonderful food!)

More fabulous company!

Cute little booties (my mother and grandma spent A LONG time getting these so cute! they are made from nut cups, marshmellows, and frosting. So CREATIVE--my family really is so AMAZING!!)

And TONS of CUTE baby stuff! That is ONE. HAPPY. MOM!

A HUGE thank you to my mother, sister, cousins (Shelise and Tara), grandma, mother-in-law, and Sister Boman for doing such a STUPENDOUS job on this fun event for me! I really appreciate and love all of you!

And thank you to everyone who came and for all of the wonderful things we received! We truly are blessed to have so much support at this time in our lives! Thank you, thank you! There were some absolutely DARLING gifts and Camden will look so spiffy now when we go out on the town!

It's been a while, I know

I have had a TON going on but not much time! Finally, I am dropping everything I have to do so that I can update some blog and load some pictures. I had a FANTABULASTIC week last week and want to share the results (even though my camera is crud...or the person behind it doesn't know how to use it--I'm not sure which one yet.)

I'll start with this past weekend. Dev's family came into town for the Romney Reunion. We have our t-shirts here (and you can see my updated pregnant belly)...

Dev and his brothers went four-wheeling....and I went on a ride for a bit as well. Don't worry, nothing bumpy~! I wasn't ready to have the baby last weekend so I didn't think it wise to force myself too much into pre-term labor. Dev decided to drive right through a mud pit. I don't think this really shows the results that well, but he thought I looked really goofy so he wanted a pic! He took a few others but I may or may not decide to include them on this blog.

Other things Dev and his brothers did this weekend: Rafted down the Provo river, went bowling, played soccer (I did for a while until I pulled a muscle), played football, and lots of other ACTIVE stuff! I was working, so I didn't go with them, but we all had a good time with them here!

I hadn't put a picture up yet of our crib. Here is one.

The weekend before Trevor's homecoming, we went to Park City on a date and rode up the ski-lift to the top of the mountain for a picnic. :O) It was a great time!

Dev can't resist making funny faces. I can rarely get him to smile, cuz he hates pictures but if he HAS to take them, he wants to make them funny-looking.

As for Trevor's homecoming, it was WONDERFUL! I just LOVED being able to go home for it and am EXTREMELY grateful to my wonderful husband for taking on so much at our home so that I could make it there.

The four kids all together again at last!

Me and my VERY handsome missionary brother!

When we got home from the airport, we were all anxious to see if Trevor's dog, Sparky, would remember him. He did and WENT CRAZY he was SO excited to see Trevor! We were all very happy :O)
Next thing Trevor decided to do was take a dive into the swimming pool....IN HIS SUIT (he had just been released by President Asay)! My camera isn't very quick at snapping pictures, so this is not as great as JaNae's, but still fun! What a cute idea!

We did SO many fun things and it was truly a blessing to hear Trevor's testimony and report as he came home from his mission! He really enjoyed serving the people of Australia! And we are proud of him and LOVE HIM!

Dallin and Byrin also had their volleyball banquet for their undefeated year! Congrats guys! I just had to get a picture with each one of my champions!

Our little snuggles...

Devin has given me two really cute dates in the last few weeks and I can no longer resist writing about them. I must first tell you about a date we had several months ago in order to more fully illustrate why this is so cute!

We go on a date together each week and switch off who plans them. It has been quite enjoyable to have such a variety of dates over the last few years. One date in particular that I had planned ended up at Build-A-Bear. I didn't think Devin would enjoy it a ton, but I thought it would be a fun little idea to build a lot-of-love into a bear so when we eventually decided to have kids, we could pass him/her down to each child and it could be our own little tradition of sorts. We found a cuddly little guy/gal that we named Snuggles. Since we were on a budget, we didn't get any clothes or anything, so the lady up front gave us some free pink bows to go on her ears. She became a she by default.

Now, we shall fast forward several months to where we found out that our little baby is going to be a boy...NOT a girl. I figured Devin had forgotten about the bear entirely, even though Snuggles was conveniently placed in areas of the house where s/he could not be forgotten--until we moved that is. At that point, I put the bear and all other stuffed animals (I do indeed have somewhat of an obsession with them--at least throughout my own childhood) in with the crib/baby stuff in the back room of our home, only to forget about it because I was so preoccupied with getting the rest of the house organized (WHICH IT FINALLY IS!!! YAY).

Again, we'll fast forward. This time, to today! Devin drove ME out to the mall. It was absolutely a surprise, because I cannot DRAG him to the mall if I WANTED to. It is absolute torture to him! So when we get there, I am a little bit flabbergasted and thinking there is something wrong with his mental stability. Then, imagine my surprise when he pulls out SNUGGLES! He decided, on his OWN I might add, that we needed to pick out a little boy outfit since we will be having a little boy baby to give Snuggles to. Here is the result:

I am sure our little one will be pleased with his daddy! And I hope that he will follow his daddy's example of thoughtfulness in the future! We also spent a lovely evening dining out since I do not like to cook on Saturdays because I need a rest from the 11+ full out meals I fix during the week. It was just a wonderful evening away from the house!

The other date I wanted to mention was a blast because we got to go roast marshmallows and make s'mores--which, in an of itself, is a great time! BUT, this particular date, Devin had made a CD for me of a bunch of songs that made him think of me. Some of them are now on our blog for your enjoyment. The cutest and most adorable thing was that he drove me to the mountains and talked me through each and every song and why it brought me to his mind! THEN, we arrived at our destination and he pulled me out of the car and slow danced with me with the beautiful mountains towering over us to, "Slow Dancin, Swayin' to the music." AWWW! I love my handsome!

Last one

I realize that I never put ANY pictures up from Christmas....I know it is extremely delayed, but I wanted to get these up anyway. Hopefully I will be able to get some copies of the pictures when we went to Wicked, too! I will have to track them down I guess!

Devin's family minus Robin and CJ (and Dev who is taking the picture)
My family minus Trevor
This is back when Devin had shaved the right side of his head accidentally when I was giving him a haircut! Ha ha! I forgot about it until I saw this picture and it made me laugh cuz a big chunk of his hair is missing!!

Devin and Sparky. Don't let him fool you. He really DOES like dogs!
I

Here are the few...

I was sick of all of that hyperlinking for no good reason, so I decided to begin a new post. So again, these are the pictures JaNae took of us at Christmas. She is thinking about majoring in photography even though she has NEVER done a class or anything online. She just enjoys it! I think that she has talent for sure! I hope she goes for it! I am sure there is a ton to learn, but she took some great shots! These first few are just normal-ish; trying to get some of the lighting down.

My hair is so dead. Poor split ends

Anxiously engaged in a good cause :O)
Trying to get Dev to lighten up a bit because he always HATES taking pictures! From here on out, we started having a little more fun and a little less seriousness.
Oh except this one! He is my hottie husband!

Goofballs! We were experimenting with AWKWARD poses! All my doing...

Water anyone?
This is Devin's favorite way to "kiss" when he knows I am not interested at the moment! Although I have never seen it, this is the make-out kiss from Dumb and Dumber. (Too dumb for me to ever get into but he thinks the kiss is HILARIOUS!!)

Kissing like old people

"Ok I am so done!" says Dev. We took him away from a precious football game and he just couldn't stand it anymore!
This was before the "done" pictures. He really likes his football. We enjoy many a Saturday afternoon watching the games.
Goin in for the tackle!

18 weeks...plus a few

oK oK...

I guess I might as well explain the previous "joke." Almost all babies have 10 toes and 10 fingers to help them count to 20. Only one gender has 'a little something extra' that can help him count to 21 :P Now you know why it's a joke boys like more than girls like it. :O)

In other words, we're having a little one of these...(yes, teddy bear and all)

Our baby.....

Can count to 21~! That is Devin's new favorite joke! See if you get it...
