We went in for an ultrasound this morning and found out some fun facts.
-Our baby's head is HUGE! He is more than in the 90% bracket. This runs in both our families, so I guess I will be lucky to give vaginal birth to him...
-Everything else is about normal for how far along I am,
EXCEPT....
-He is already more than 6 pounds (roughly a pound and a half more than should be at this point)! Which means, I am going to be a big fan of him coming sooner rather than later,
WHICH....
-might be possible because he is already turned head down, face to my back, and REALLY low in my pelvis! (We couldn't even get a good picture of his face because he was too far down) I felt the "lightening" last Wednesday and could definitely tell he had dropped even lower into my pelvis
Our Doc was out of town today but we have an appointment with him next Monday; so she said I'll need to talk with him about what we will do (since his head and weight are larger than normal). It could all happen anytime, I guess!

I was a month early with both my babies! It is the BEST! Start packing your bag!:)
Well I hope the baby comes naturally on its own at 38 weeks. I just feel there are more complications when you are induced. Good luck!! I know you are ready to hold your bundle of joy...9months is a long time to be pregnant. can't wait to see pics.
Oh my gosh! I was just thinking last night about calling you or emailing. I realized its coming soon so I wanted to see how things were. I just didnt realize it might be SO soon.
it sounds like good news overall, meghan! hope everything goes well!!!
maybe you're actually further along then the doctors think. They do mess up on due dates:)
OH my goodness how exciting! I can't wait to see pic of him! Goodluck parentas!Hope all goes well we will be thinking of you guys!
WOW!!! This is so exciting!!! But I definitely think this is a teasing post because now everyday I'm going to be wondering if maybe, just maybe something happened. So keep us posted :) I can't wait.
Man o Man (big head and big baby possibly), just be glad you're not trying to do this with no drugs. After having Chase and him being 9'4" all the nurses said "Oh sure, you have a BIG baby the time you go natural!" Yea, I probably wouldn't have been as excited if I had known!! :) Good luck!!!!!!!!!!
I meant 9 lbs 4 oz. Not 9 feet and 4 inches LOL!!!!!! hahahaha. I just caught that and it made me laugh :)
